History

Credit Management can trace its roots back to the mid 1920s. Formerly known as The Collection Bureau of Grand Island, Credit Management was a credit and collection agency dedicated exclusively to serving the Grand Island area.

The current owner of Credit Management, Micheal Morledge, joined the company in the early 1980s and became the sole owner in 1995. Credit Management is truly a family owned and operated business. Son, Jason has been with the company since 1990 and is the current President, daughter Ashley has been on staff since 2003 and fills the role of Vice President of Customer Relations.

Mr. Morledge began by focusing on expanding the territorial boundaries of his business. In order to accomplish this task, the Collection Bureau of Grand Island, Inc., changed its name to Credit Management Services, Inc. The new name brought new opportunities to expand both the credit and collection departments and to increase its customer base statewide.

Relocation to our current offices in downtown Grand Island took place in 1990. This move enabled the company to grow to its current size, gradually expanding its office space over the years. We currently occupy the main floor of our home office in Grand Island, and two locations in Kearney, and Lincoln, Nebraska.
